Himani Narwal's mother and brother talk to reporters

Rohtak: Savita Narwal, mother of Congress Haryana woman worker Himani Narwal whose body was found stuffed in a suitcase in Rohtak's Sampla, on Sunday claimed that the party members could be behind her murder and that the family would not perform her last rites untill justice was served.

Talking to reports here, she claimed that jealously could have been the motive behind her daughter's murder.

"The culprits could be from withing the party who were jealous of her progress. Himani worked tirelessly for the party and she deserves justice," she said.

"They could be her friends too. She was at home on 28th February. We received a phone call from Police Station (regarding the incident). My daughter was very close to Asha Hooda (wife of Senior Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda), she further said.
