Himachal Pradesh Polls: Congress Gets Absolute Majority In Trends, BJP Is Way Behind

Shimla: The counting of votes in Himachal Pradesh is still continuing. According to the trends recieved so far, Congress has crossed the majority mark of 35 getting 39 seats and BJP is at 26. Independents are leading on 3 seats.

Election Highlights:
1. Gujarat: BJP leading on 154 seats, Congress 19, AAP 6, Others 3
2. Himachal Pradesh: Congress leading on 39, BJP 26, Others 3
3. Uttar Pradesh bypoll: SP leading in all 3 seats Mainpuri, Rampur & Khatauli#ResultsWithDynamiteNews

It is now almost certain that the tradition of alternate governments of Congress and BJP every 5 years will be maintained by state voters this time too.

In Himachal Pradesh, elections were held for all 68 seats in a single phase on 12 November 2022.
