Shimla: At least 31 people were injured after a tourist bus overturned on the Chandigarh-Manali Highway near Mandi on Sunday morning, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
The bus was heading toward Kasol in Kullu district. The accident occurred early Sunday morning Mandi.

"The bus was carrying tourists when it lost control and overturned, possibly due to overspeeding. According to a preliminary investigation, overspeeding may be the likely cause of the mishap, said the Additional Superintendent of Police Sagar Chander.
Some of the passengers are critically injured and have been referred to Nerchowk Medical College for advanced care. The driver and conductor of the bus are also injured.
After getting the information the Police and the rescue teams reached the spot quickly.
An FIR has been registered and further investigation is underway.
