A pair of hillwalkers have been rescued from the Cairngorms after they became trapped amid tough weather conditions brought on by Storm Eunice.
The two people had been stranded since Friday but were not rescued until yesterday.
Volunteers from the Braemar Mountain Rescue Team and an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) worked together as they searched for the pair amid significant snowfall, reports Aberdeen Live.
A tweet from the team shows footage of crew members making their way back to the vehicle having retrieved the hill-goers.
The rescue comes after two walkers were reunited on the Cairngorms after becoming separated in treacherous conditions.
Storm Eunice caused disruption across the north-east on Friday, with heavy snow leading to road closures across Aberdeenshire.
Schools across the area were also forced to close due to the travel chaos.
