Emergency crews have raced to Ben Lomond after a hillwalker suffered a lower leg injury.
Police Scotland contacted Lomond Mountain Rescue Team (LMRT) to assist the casualty, believed to be a man called Paul.
LMRT team members assessed his wound before administering pain relief, stabilising the injury and preparing a stretcher.
Paul was then transferred into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS).
LMRT said: "Many thanks to colleagues in Police Scotland (Strathclyde) MRT, Forth Valley Police and the Scottish Ambulance Service."
An SAS spokesperson said: "We can confirm we received a call and we transported one male patient to Forth Valley Royal Hospital."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received a report of a 34-year-old man having been injured while walking on Ben Lomond around 1.45pm on Monday, 20 June, 2022.
“Lomond Mountain Rescue Team and Police Scotland Mountain Rescue Team attended and the man was taken to hospital for treatment.”
