Footage has emerged appearing to show a group of Manchester United supporters mocking the Hillsborough disaster before last night's match against Liverpool.
In the video, which has been viewed more than 60,000 times, a group of supporters were filmed singing a vile chant about the S*n newspaper as they walked towards Anfield ahead of Manchester United's 4-0 defeat. Members of the group, believed to be United supporters, at the front and back of the crowd were singing the song.
During the match some away supporters chanted the same message towards home fans.

Louise Brookes, sister of Andrew Mark Brookes, who was killed in the 1989 tragedy, said: "I think they are an absolute disgrace. Hillsborough could have happened to them, their loved ones or friends. I wouldn’t wish what our 97, survivors and families have gone through on my worst enemy."
Another said: “Come on then @FA, @premierleague, @MerseyPolice, @gmpolice, @AndyBurnhamGM, @lpoolcouncil, @ManCityCouncil You going to do something about this? There are more videos doing the rounds too…”
Last week marked the 33rd anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster, in which 97 Liverpool fans were unlawfully killed.
The S*n falsely reported that Liverpool fans were to blame for what happened, along with a number of false claims about supporters under the incorrect headline "The Truth". The newspaper has been widely boycotted on Merseyside ever since.
The chants from some Manchester United fans came as Liverpool supporters showed solidarity with Cristiano Ronaldo after the United player announced his newborn child had died on social media. Anfield fans clapped for the absent United legend after seven minutes and sang You’ll Never Walk Alone as a special tribute.
Manchester United said in a statement: "Manchester United stands in solidarity with Liverpool and its fans in remembering victims of Hillsborough disaster. Offensive chants about the tragedy completely unacceptable and we will work with supporters’ groups to educate fans on issue.”
