A hillwalker was stretchered to safety in the dark after slipping whilst climbing a Munro.
Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team were alerted to the incident in Coire Gabhail, commonly known as Glencoe's Hidden Valley, by Police Scotland after reports of the walker sustaining a leg injury.
The casualty was decending Stob Coire nan Lochan when they are understood to have fallen.


They managed to continue before the mountain rescue team arrived and administered first aid before putting them on a stretcher and bringing them to safety. No more details are avaiable on their injuries at this stage.
A spokesperson for Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team said: "Rescuers found the casualty still making progress off the hill despite thier injury.
"After administering some brief first aid the casualty was packaged and carried/wheeled off the hill. Our best wishes for a swift and full recovery"
