Rangers are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea starlet Leo Castledine on loan this transfer window.
The sought-after 19-year-old midfielder is said to be on the radar of numerous English clubs, with the young player having signed a contract extension at Stamford Bridge towards the end of 2023.
According to Football Scotland, Rangers are seeking to bring Castledine to Ibrox on a season-long loan, however Chelsea are said to prefer a straight loan deal without a future option-to-buy clause.
Having made his first-team debut at Chelsea under former manager Mauricio Pochettino in last term's EFL Cup, the 19-year-old was once nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Season.

Elsewhere in Rangers' own youth ranks, wonderkid Alexander Smith has been called up by Scotland and the USA.
The 16-year-old midfielder has been selected for international duty with both countries due to his dual-citizenship.
Smith, who recently signed a three-year professional deal at Rangers, has previously represented both nations in youth action.
Through all of this, Smith once caught the attention of transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano. He previously said: "Rangers top prospect Alexander Smith close to agreeing first professional contract at the club valid until June 2027.
"He’s elegible for USA & Scotland national teams.
"Rangers fought off strong interest from PL and MLS to keep him, top priority for the board and Clement."
