Highlights: Warriors’ Steph Curry records first triple-double of season vs. Heat

The Golden State Warriors’ struggles on the road continued on Tuesday against the Miami Heat.

Despite holding the lead heading into the fourth quarter, the Warriors went cold in the fourth quarter to drop their fourth consecutive road loss on the 2022-23 season.

Although the Warriors couldn’t close late, Steph Curry is still putting up MVP-caliber numbers.

Against the Heat on Tuesday, the reigning NBA Finals Most Valuable Player notched his first triple-double of the 2022-23 campaign. Curry stuffed the boxscore with a team-high 23 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the field with 13 assists and 13 rebounds in 35 minutes against the Heat.

Through eight games, Curry is averaging 30 points on 47.3% from the field and 39.6% shooting from beyond the arc with 7.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game this season.

Curry and the Warriors will be back searching for their first road victory of the season on Thursday against the Orlando Magic.
