She said the government talks about many schemes, but the farmers in UP and the country are not getting their due rights. Come to Lucknow and see what is the condition of the 'Swachha Abhiyan'.
She said whatever had happened in Manipur was an utter violation of human rights. It was state-sponsored violence in a way. If its video did not go viral on social media, no one would have known the horrifying incident.
Dimple Yadav said that due to Manipur violence, a large number of people had to migrate from the state. Many families left their homes. A large number of children missed school. Are the people, women and children of Manipur not the responsibility of the BJP government.
'We want to know from the government that how many arrests have been made so far in Manipur violence? What action has been taken against the accused?' asked Dimple Yadav.
The Mainpuri MP also wanted a discussion on Uttar Pradesh as statistics show that every three hours a woman is molested in UP. This double engine BJP government of Uttar Pradesh and the Centre is not at all taking any cognizance of this.
Dimple Yadav said that Samajwadi Party has always been in favour of affordable prices of food items and clothes while medical care and education should be free. Today, under the rule of BJP, on the contrary, inflation is increasing continuously. The poor, the farmers and the general public are tired of inflation.
SP leader said that electricity rates are continuously rising in UP. There is no increase in production and the government is not able to fulfil the electricity demand of farmers and industries.
The three black farm laws brought by the BJP government cost lives of hundreds of farmers, though the laws were later withdrawn, Dimple Yadav said.
