According to officials, the pursuit began when law enforcement officers attempted to pull over a vehicle driven by the suspected human smuggler. However, instead of complying with the officers' instructions, the driver accelerated and initiated a high-speed chase.

Border Patrol agents were able to apprehend all four migrants who were inside the vehicle.
