Met Éireann has signaled that high pressure is set to dominate the next few days with temperatures in the low 20s expected to bring beach weather this coming weekend.
The national forecaster has stated that temperatures are set to rise throughout the week, starting in the low teens and rising into the 20s, in what could be a sizzling weekend.
In their overview for the week, they said: "High pressure will continue to dominate our weather, bringing mostly settled conditions with a good deal of dry weather. Temperatures increasing through the week."

While sun is forecast for this Monday and Tuesday, scattered showers and increasing cloud cover will keep a lid on temperatures set to hit a maximum of 15C.
Wednesday will see the "the odd spot of light rain or drizzle" however temperatures are set to increase further, with hazy sunshine bringing highs of 19C countrywide.
For Thursday, Met Éireann, Ireland's meteorological service has forecast: "Dry with some sunny spells at first. Cloud will build from the west through the morning with some patchy light rain or drizzle following. Remaining drier and sunnier in the east and southeast.
"Later in the afternoon, the cloud will begin to break up with long spells of evening sunshine developing. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees generally in mostly light southwest to west breezes."
Friday will kick of the weekend scorcher, with the first sight of temperatures in their 20s. It is expected to be "predominately dry with long spells of hazy sunshine" with temperatures of up to 20C.
Beaches and barbecues could be the top priority for the remainder of next weekend.
Met Éireann said: "Current indications suggest that high pressure will remain in charge generating a good deal of dry weather with sunny spells and mostly light breezes. Highest temperatures in the high teens to low twenties."
