Hidden Radfords family members we don't see - kids who moved out, partners and grandkids

The Radford family is actually even BIGGER than it first seems.

Britain's biggest family, who cram into a former care home in Morecambe, is made up of a whopping 22 children.

And there's no guarantee that the babies will stop there as parent Sue and Noel are known to change their minds after claiming they won't have anymore kids.

They are parents to Chris, 32, Sophie, 27, Chloe, 26, Jack, 24, Daniel, 22, Luke, 21, Millie, 20, Katie, 19, James, 18, Ellie, 16, Aimee, 15, Josh, 14, Max, 12, Tillie, 11, Oscar, 10, Casper, nine, Hallie, six, Phoebe, five, Archie, four, Bonnie, three, and Heidie, one.

The Radfords first hit our screens in 2012 in Channel 4 documentary 15 Kids and Counting, then 20 Kids and Counting in 2018 to mark their 25th wedding anniversary.

Now they are appearing in 22 Kids and Counting on Channel 5 - but there are some members of the famous clan we don't see on screen.

As the kids grow older they start to branch off and begin their own families.

This means the Radfords are growing even larger with partners marrying into the family and grandkids being born.

But some of them don't actually appear on 22 Kids and Counting, which is back for another new episode tonight.

Eldest son Christopher, who moved out of the family home but lives nearby in Morecambe, has three kids with his wife Nicole.

They are four-year-old Maisie, two-year-old Jacob and baby Nicholas, who is the newest addition to the entire Radford clan having been born in September last year.

Making the announcement on Instagram, grandma Sue said: "I have been itching to share this news all day, welcome to the family beautiful boy!"

Chris, who was born when his mother was 14-years-old, does not appear on the family's Channel 5 show and now works as a glazier having previously had a job at the their bakery.

Sue has explained that Chris wanted to take a step back from the limelight and rarely appears on their social media either.

There is also eldest daughter Sophie, who now lives with her husband Joe Broadley and their three children - Daisy, nine, Ayprill, seven and Leo, five.

When Sophie left the family home in August 2013, mum Sue admitted she got emotional just walking past their empty room.

"Sophie, Joe and little Daisy moved out of the Radford house today and I can't bare to go past the bedroom without getting upset," wrote Sue.

When Sophie announced her third pregnancy in August 2015, she said she would not follow in her parents' footsteps and wanted to stop with Leo.

"He will definitely be our last - although I can't say the same about mum and dad," she told The Sun.

Describing her excitement at being a mother again she said: "Mum always jokes that I’m not going to stop at three.

"She thinks I will have eight, but that’s definitely not going to happen.

"When we told her about baby number three she was delighted, she's always happy when a new baby is coming along."

Daughter Millie, 20, gave birth to a baby girl named Ophelia in September 2020 - and has also moved out.

Millie revealed details of her traumatic labour as she was rushed into theatre due to birthing complications, later describing how her cute little tot came out "kickboxing" with her fists up.

She has now moved out of the family house, but things didn't go exactly to plan as dad Noel got a call almost immediately because Millie forgot to get food.

One person who isn't in the picture is Millie's ex-boyfriend, who she says had originally vowed to be a part of Ophelia's life but they are "nothing to each other now"

Speaking in a Q&A video on the family's YouTube channel in November 2020, Millie explained why her ex-boyfriend isn't currently a part of his daughter's life.

"I'm not saying who he is because he's completely out of our lives," she said. "He's in a new relationship, we don't have anything to do with each other."

She continued: "We haven't had anything to do with each other for months – from pretty much the beginning of my pregnancy.

"He just wasn't happy to step up and be a dad so he's never been named."

Chloe, who is the third eldest child and second eldest daughter, has also moved out of the family home to be with her boyfriend.

In May last year, Chloe took to Instagram to announce she was leaving the family nest to move in with her partner.

She posted a picture of herself and her boyfriend enjoying a toast to their important milestone together saying: "Few drinks to celebrate LIVING together!!"

Chloe then tagged her partner and joked: "We might need something a bit stronger than a pint."

She has also made it clear that she will be having three children "max" - and not for a few years yet.

Sue and Noel will be sad to see some of their kids leave, but it's going to help their spending.

They fork out an eye-watering £400 a week on their colossal food bill, consume 56 sausages, 16 pints of milk and four loaves of bread a day, as well as three tubes of toothpaste, 80 yoghurts a week and 24 toilet rolls per week.

Having spent a whopping £1 million raising their kids, with Sue being pregnant for 16-and-a-half years of her life, they claim to definitely be finished.

"No, we are not having any more," Sue told The Mirror last year. "Definitely 100% not."

During a Q&A session for their fans with their two eldest daughters, the couple explained that youngest daughter Heidie would be their final baby.

When asked if they were having any more children, Sue replied: "We have both decided that we don't want more children. This time we are definitely done! Heidi is definitely the last! That's that."

Noel added: "There will be no more little Radfords, not from us anyway."
