The number one restaurant in Liverpool on TripAdvisor has changed with Al Dente on Lark Lane now in the top spot.
The restaurant has risen through the ranks of the review site to become the number one venue in Liverpool. At the time of publication, Al Dente had received 789 reviews, of which 740 people rated it 'excellent' and 15 'very good'.
The restaurant serves up a range of dishes using ingredients sourced from Italy, Turkey, France and Greece such as traditional buffalo mozzarella and artisan meats, olives and more. The menu features everything from carpaccio and lasagne to halloumi wraps and salt and pepper chicken.

The restaurant has racked up a number of five star reviews on TripAdvisor. Among the reviews, one person wrote: "Amazing 10/10. Absolutely beautiful food and staff! Would definitely recommend. Food was spot on and will definitely be returning! Staff are so welcoming and helpful! Such a good energy, Complements to the chef."
A second said: "A must if in the area. A warm welcome upon arrival and things just proceeded to get better and better. Front of houses staff were amazing and the chefs abilities in the kitchen matched them. Every course was tasty, well presented and the price very reasonable. Made for a fantastic night. Well done to you all."
A third added: "Liverpool's Hidden Gem. What a find! Al Dente restaurant Lark lane Liverpool. Fabulous ambience, spoilt for choice with the amount on their menu. Generous portions. Tasty food, beautifully presented.
"Customers of all ages. Great place for Hen/stag parties or any other celebration such as birthdays. Highly recommended. Reasonably priced. Amazing friendly staff. Can not find fault with the place".
Al Dente can be found at 1 Lark Lane Aigburth, Liverpool, L17 8UN. The restaurant is open from 12pm - 10pm on Sunday - Monday, and Wednesday - Thursday. Opening times are 12pm - 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
