Hibs vs Hearts women's Edinburgh derby at Easter Road to smash attendance record

The women's Edinburgh derby between Hibs and Hearts is set smash an attendance record.

The club have sold over 6,500 tickers for the big game so far - more than one thousand more than the previous domestic record set back in September 2021. The clash, that takes place in ten days time at Easter Road, will provide a stunning occasion with a big fan base packing into the ground to watch the encounter.

A club statement read: "The club are excited to announce that over 6,500 tickets have been purchased for the upcoming Women’s Edinburgh Derby, which takes place on Sunday 27 November at Easter Road. That means, the Women’s Edinburgh Derby is set to break our own domestic attendance record of 5,512 which was set back in September 2021.

"The match kicks off at 4:10pm and thanks to the support from Baillie Gifford, tickets for this one are completely free of charge.

"Due to the excessive demand for tickets, the East Stand has now been opened up to accommodate for additional supporters.

"Once again, the club have agreed to host a singing section in the Famous Five stand to help bolster the atmosphere – the singing section has now SOLD OUT!"
