Nohan Kenneh has opened up on Marcelo Bielsa's 'Murderball' training at Leeds and how it will benefit him following his move to Hibs.
Lee Johnson snapped up the youngster this summer on a pre-contract as he bids to play first-team football week-in, week-out. The Hibees finished in the bottom half and had a poor campaign by there own standards, with the 19-year-old one of a host of new recruits tasked with making a success of this campaign.
Hibs are currently in Portugal undergoing a warm-weather training camp and kicked off pre-season with a win over Paul Hartley's Hartlepool United yesterday. It's set to be a demanding season and Kenneh reckons learning his trade under Bielsa will come as a huge benefit in Scotland. He said the Argentine was 'massive' for his development as he opened up on his gruelling training exercise he describes as 'one of the toughest ever'.

He said: “Marcelo Bielsa was massive for me.
“His style of play is different to every other manager. His attention to detail was good too.
“And I felt he improved me massively tactically.
“He had a translator at Leeds, but he could speak a bit of English.
“He could say some things, but everyone knew his game plan and they all adapted to it, which was good.
“Everyone knows about his ‘Murderball’ training. It was one of the toughest ever.
"It’s like a mini-sided game, the coaches stand around the pitch and every time the ball goes out another ball goes back in. There are no fouls or offsides and everyone is just fouling each other.
“It’s hard, but obviously it helps your fitness because when you’re playing a proper game it feels easier.”
