Hibernian will be able to receive up to seven-thousand tickets for their upcoming Scottish Cup tie against Celtic.
The quarter-final clash is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at Celtic Park.
Hibs originally received 2,667 tickets for the highly anticipated cup tie, but with demand soaring, the Easter Road club engaged in continued discussions with Celtic in an effort to secure more seats.
On Thursday (February 27), a breakthrough was reached, with Hibs confirming an increased allocation of up to 7,000 tickets for the fixture.
The decision comes amid a 14-game unbeaten run for David Gray’s side, with fans playing a crucial role in the team’s resurgence.

Understanding the financial risk involved, Hibernian accepted the increased allocation, confident in their supporters’ unwavering backing.
“We remained in continued dialogue with Celtic requesting more tickets, and today had a breakthrough,” the club confirmed.
“It goes without saying that our supporters have played a vital part in our fantastic run of form, and we want to see as many Hibees as possible supporting the team at Celtic Park.”
Hibs will now take one of their largest travelling supports in recent memory to Glasgow, aiming to extend their impressive run and book a place in the Scottish Cup semi-finals.
