Hibs star Ryan Porteous is caught up in a police investigation after it was alleged a woman was struck by a drinks tumbler.
The Daily Record report that the 22-year-old was allegedly involved in a bust-up which resulted in a reveller needing hospital treatment for an injury.
This follows another incident Edinburgh Live reported on yesterday where a memorial wreath was stolen as the Hibs star and his friends made their way home from a night out.

Now on the latest allegation, sources say Porteous threw the toughened plastic container outside Dalkeith Miners Club, in Midlothian, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Porteous and a group of his friends had spent the night drinking at the bar which is known to locals as the Woodburn Club.
Edinburgh live reported yesterday on trouble as the group made their way home but now new allegations have surfaced.
It is claimed trouble flared after men targeted Porteous with abuse outside the venue.
A source said: “Porteous has been accused of throwing a plastic tumbler and injuring a woman on Saturday night.
“There was a lot of shouting and abuse directed at Ryan and there was a bit of a melee in the street outside.
“A young woman had to go to hospital for treatment after being caught up in the trouble.
“Her and her family are upset at what’s happened.
“She was out enjoying a night out with friends and has ended up badly hurt.
“She’s home now and thankful she wasn’t more seriously hurt.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers in Midlothian are conducting enquiries after a woman sustained an injury outside a premises in the Woodburn Road area of Dalkeith around 2.05am on Sunday, February 20, 2022.”
Porteous had starred in Hibernian’s 2-0 Scottish Premiership win over Ross County at Easter Road hours before the incident.
A spokesman for Hibs said: “After looking into events in Dalkeith on late Saturday evening more information has come to light.
“We will assist Police Scotland in the investigation in any way we can.
“As this is a live police investigation, we are unable to comment further at this time.”
