Hibs owner Ron Gordon got more than he bargained for as he was pictured today on a flight packed with Hearts fans on their way to Zurich.
The Jambos fans were likely not expecting to see the Hibs owner sitting down with them as they made their way to Switzerland for the Europa League meeting with FC Zurich. One sly fan even managed to get a picture of Gordon as he sat next to a sniggering Hearts fan, the Hibs owner seems less than pleased at the predicament he finds himself in.
According to Football Scotland, the flight itself set off from Edinburgh this morning to Ibiza before supporters caught a connecting flight to Switzerland. It’s not currently clear where Gordon was jetting off to but it’s safe to assume that his hopes for a quiet flight were dashed by the crowd of Jambos.

The picture was shared to social media where the fan said: "Super Ron Gordon on the flight to watch the Gorgie."
One comment read: "Let's be honest it's the only time he's gonna see Europa league fitba." While another added: "Definitely qualifies as a bit of a hibsing. He is going to love that flight."
This comes as Hearts are set to face Zurich on Thursday in their first trip to Europe in six years. Fans have been flocking to Switzerland to see the match, taking various different routes to make it in time for the game.
This will be just the first leg of the two teams playing one another, with a rematch planned in Tynecastle next week. Nevertheless, it will remain an important match for Hearts as they know they may be just 180 minutes away from the group stages.
