Hibs have completed their second signing within 24 hours as they confirm striker Elie Youan as their latest recruit.
After days of speculation, the Easter Road club announced the capture of former Celtic winger Aiden McGeady on Friday night on a one-year deal, following his departure from Sunderland. Now boss Lee Johnson has convinced the former French youth international and Nantes youngster to join his cause after spending time at Swiss club St Gallen
He is their latest addition in a busy summer at Hibs that has saw David Marshall, Nohan Kenneh, Momodou Bojang, Rocky Bushiri, Lewis Miller, Jair Tavares and Kyle McClelland all sign for them during the course of this summer transfer window so far ahead of July's competitive matches in Premier Sports Cup and Premiership competitions. Johnson said of his latest new man: "We are excited to welcome Élie to Hibs and we are glad he chose us out of numerous clubs who were interested in him.

"Élie is a very versatile forward player with excellent speed and dynamism. His attributes will enable us to stretch the game and allow us to open up space for our technically-gifted midfield players.”
Head of Recruitment Ian Gordon added: “We are excited to add a player of Youan’s ability to our squad. He has proven he can score goals across different European leagues and we are confident that he will continue to succeed in Scotland."
