Lee Johnson has hailed the versatility of new recruit Jordan Obita with his ability from set plays a stand out trait for the Hibs boss.
The Easter Road gaffer has swooped to land the experienced defender on a two-year deal following his exit from English outfit Wycombe Wanderers this summer. The Hibees also hold an option to extend his deal by a further season as he becomes the latest recruit in Leith with the European campaign not far around the corner.
The capital club finished the Scottish Premiership campaign in fifth spot last term and will face one of Vikingur or Inter Club d'Escaldes in the Europa Conference League second qualifying round - the first of three hurdles in a bid to reach the group stage.

Obita has made over 300 career appearances to date with 34 of those coming in the third tier of the English football pyramid last season. Predominantly starting at left-back he can comfortably turn out on the left-wing and adds a new dimension to the team.
On his new recruit, Johnson commented: “We’re excited to bring a player of Jordan’s experience to the football club.
“He gives us extra options all the way up the left hand-side and his ability from set plays will add an extra dimension to the squad. We look forward to working with him.”
As well as Wycombe, Obita has turned out for the likes of Reading, Portsmouth, Oxford United, Gillingham, Oldham and Barnet during his career.
