Hibs and Rangers 'keeping tabs' on West Ham youngster Emmanuel Longelo

Hibs and Rangers are keeping tabs on West Ham youngster Emmanuel Longelo, according to a report.

David Moyes handed the full-back his debut in the Europa League last term but he has struggled for first-team chances at the Hammers.

The 21-year-old looks set to leave the English Premier League outfit this summer.

And the Scottish Sun report both Rangers and Hibs are monitoring the full-back.

EPL new boys Bournemouth are in the market for a left-back and are said to be interested, while Championship outfit Millwall are also keeping a keen eye.

The report states Rangers' interest depends on the future of Calvin Bassey, who has been linked with a number of clubs including Aston Villa after a stunning season.

West Ham were open to selling the defender during the winter window but a move never materialised.

Hammers boss Moyes wants a new left-back in the door this summer to provide competition for Aaron Cresswell but Longelo is not considered to be at that level just yet.
