Hibs are set to join Aberdeen in a transfer tussle for Fleetwood Town winger Shayden Morris.
Respected transfer guru Alan Nixon reports that the Premiership pair are 'fighting over' the 20-year-old managed by Scott Brown, who took over as Cod Army boss earlier this summer. The former midfielder started his playing career at Hibs and ended it with Aberdeen after a trophy-laden spell as Celtic captain was sandwiched between those spells. It's been a busy summer so far at Easter Road for new boss Lee Johnson.
Aiden McGeady, Ellie Youan, Jair Tavares and Momodou Bojang are just some of the players to arrive in Leith this summer, bolstering their forward line in the process. Their Premiership rivals have been busy too during boss Jim Goodwin's first summer in charge and the Irishman confirmed they are in no mood to slow down with league business beginning again this month. Morris could be another capture.
