Hibernian midfielder Reuben McAllister has completed a loan move to Forfar Athletic for the remainder of the season.
The 18-year-old will spend the second half of the campaign with the Scottish League Two side as he continues his development.
McAllister started the 2024/25 season on loan at Cove Rangers in League One, making nine appearances in all competitions before returning to his parent club.
He now heads to Station Park, where Jim Weir’s Forfar side are aiming to climb the table after a challenging first half of the season.
This latest move marks McAllister’s third loan spell away from Hibs as he gains further first-team experience.
He made his senior debut for the club in August 2023, coming on as a substitute in a UEFA Europa Conference League qualifier against Inter Club d’Escaldes.
Hibernian sporting director Malky Mackay was delighted to facilitate the move which should see McAllister gain much-needed game time.
He said: “This is another development loan for Reuben as we continue to give him a regular taste of senior football.
“Having had two previous loans in Scottish League One, he knows the challenge to expect and this move will test his physicality.
“Reuben has a fantastic attitude, and we are all looking forward to following his progress closely.”
