Preparations are currently in progress for the funeral of former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, who tragically lost his life in an Israeli airstrike in southern Beirut two months ago. According to a Hezbollah lawmaker, Ibrahim Moussawi, arrangements have been made, and a suitable date and time will soon be selected for the event.
Moussawi expressed that the funeral procession will be a grand and majestic affair, with the nation's masses coming together to honor the memory of the esteemed leader, Hassan Nasrallah.
Additionally, Mahmoud Qamati, the deputy head of Hezbollah's political council, mentioned during a recent news conference that there are ongoing discussions regarding the funeral. Qamati emphasized the importance of conducting the funeral in a manner that truly reflects Nasrallah's spirit and martyrdom.
Qamati further stated that the upcoming funeral will serve as a significant popular and official demonstration of support for the resistance and the legacy of the martyr, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
It is crucial to recall that Nasrallah met his untimely demise in an Israeli airstrike on his underground headquarters located in the Dahiyeh area of Beirut's southern suburbs on September 27. This event marked a notable escalation in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.
