Hezbollah, a Lebanese militant group, launched over 50 rockets targeting private homes in the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights. This attack followed a meeting between U.S. Secretary of State and mediators from Egypt and Qatar to negotiate a cease-fire in the ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel.

Hamas rejected a proposed agreement, citing new conditions from Israel. In response, Hezbollah launched the attack in Golan Heights, claiming retaliation for an Israeli strike in Lebanon that resulted in casualties.

First responders treated a man injured in the attack, while firefighters prevented a larger disaster by containing a house fire caused by the rockets. The escalating violence between Israel and Hezbollah has resulted in numerous casualties on both sides, with over 500 deaths in Lebanon and dozens in Israel.
