Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for launching a series of rockets, named Fadi 1 and Fadi 2, towards the Ramat David air base in northern Israel. This marks the second time in recent days that such an attack has taken place. According to Hezbollah, these rocket launches are a direct response to what they perceive as repeated Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon resulting in the deaths of numerous civilians.
Earlier, Hezbollah had announced the firing of 'tens of rockets' at the Ramat David base. Attempts to obtain a response from the Israeli military regarding these incidents have so far been unsuccessful.
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, while visiting the Ramat David base last Wednesday, stated that Israel is entering a 'new era' in the ongoing conflict.
