Hezbollah Launches Rockets At Israeli Air Base In Response

Smoke rises following what the Israeli armed forces say was an air strike on Hezbollah targets at a location given as Lebanon

Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for launching a series of rockets, named Fadi 1 and Fadi 2, towards the Ramat David air base in northern Israel. This marks the second time in recent days that such an attack has taken place. According to Hezbollah, these rocket launches are a direct response to what they perceive as repeated Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon resulting in the deaths of numerous civilians.

Earlier, Hezbollah had announced the firing of 'tens of rockets' at the Ramat David base. Attempts to obtain a response from the Israeli military regarding these incidents have so far been unsuccessful.

Fadi 1 and Fadi 2 rockets were used in the attacks.
