Hezbollah has confirmed the death of senior commander Fu’ad Shukr. The militant group released a statement on Wednesday, honoring Shukr as a martyr on the path to Jerusalem. Israel claimed responsibility for a strike in Beirut on Tuesday that resulted in Shukr's death. The Israeli government accused Shukr of orchestrating a deadly attack in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights on Saturday.
