Formula 1 is finally back with the 2025 season opener kicking off in Melbourne for the Australian Grand Prix this Thursday, March 14. This time around, the start of the szn is a doubleheader, meaning that after the Melbs Grand Prix, the zoom zoom drivers and their teams are heading straight to Shanghai the following weekend for the Chinese Grand Prix.
Between the actual races, having a swarm of hot F1 drivers descend upon Melbourne, and all the post-race after-parties, there is a lot to look forward to this weekend. Speaking of after-parties, booze brand Glenfiddich, official partner of Aston Martin’s Formula 1 Team, is throwing a post-race-day Formula 1 party at the QT that’s absolutely worth checking out.
Located on the QT’s iconic rooftop, the daily afterparty, Club 1959, kicks off just as the Albert Park gates close (aka 6pm), giving guests pole position to enjoy a sundowner with local Melbourne DJs, including Clara Yates, Bos Housen, DJ FEMME, Sarah Turvell, Brittany Leo, and Kayla Bruno, performing each night.
Those who don’t have tickets to the race can head to QT early and enjoy it on the big screen from 3pm before the DJs start. Spaces are first come, first served daily, so move fast, folks.
The four-day Formula 1 party will see guests treated to Glenfiddich signature serves of the ‘59 Spritz and Warehouse 8 sours. Plus, you’ll be able to see the 2025 Aston Martin F1 Team racing gear worn by Fernando Alonso and score a peek at Glenfiddich’s latest, super exclusive 1959 bottling on display — it’s a one-off-bottling to commemorate the year the Aston Martin F1 Team legacy was first established.
