A person was rescued by a brave passerby after they fell into a Dublin canal.
The heroic passerby jumped into action after they saw the person collapse into the Royal Canal during a medical emergency. They raised the alarm and pulled the person from the water.
Dublin Fire Brigade was alerted to the incident as firefighters treated and transported the patient to hospital. Thankfully, the patient is expected to make a full recovery, a spokesperson for the DFB said.

It was a busy week for DFB as an ambulance from the HQ was flagged down after a roof went on fire on South Great George's Street on Tuesday night. Firefighters rushed to the scene to find the decking and plastic roof of the building burning.
The hardworking crew was able to extinguish the fire before it spread to the building.
