Two Asda workers have been praised after they helped find a woman's diamond engagement ring when she lost it while shopping.
The woman was shopping in the Rawtenstall store on Holly Mount Way when she realised her £12,000 ring had disappeared from her finger. The treasured ring had fallen off in the world foods aisle, according to a post on the Asda Facebook page.
She alerted staff and two colleagues - named William and Daniel - got to work trying to find the ring. They scoured everywhere and managed to find it underneath one of the fixtures inside the supermarket.

Store manager Lee said: "The customer was absolutely delighted and was full of praise for both colleagues for being so caring and helpful. Great work from them both!"
Hundreds commented on Asda's Facebook post praising the pair. Marian O'Brien said: Great to see two such caring individuals who went above and beyond for that lady."
Gwyneth Aylott wrote: "Well done William and Daniel for being so eagle eyed bet the owner was so pleased to have it back."
Margaret Corke commented: "Wow, what an amazing find! Well done both for your hard work in tracking it down. Hope you were suitably rewarded."
