Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 agent of chaos Jacqui Burfoot was dumped on-air after dropping a shit tonne of tea about her time on Australia’s most talked about experiment.
Without a doubt, Jacqui Burfoot has been one of the most talked about characters of MAFS 2025 both on and off-screen. To paint you a quick picture, the 29-year-old bride was paired with Ryan Donnelly, and their relationship was a complete rollercoaster. Every episode, the couple would break up and then kiss and make up.
However, things came to an explosive end when the pair decided to leave the experiment at Final Vows, with Ryan describing his MAFS ‘wife’ as a “horrible woman”.
Off-screen, Jacqui went completely rogue on social media, spoiling whether she and Ryan made it outside of the experiment and revealing that she’d shacked up with fellow MAFS 2025 groom Clint Rice after the whole shebang.
Following Monday night’s dramatic AF Final Vows, Jacqui jumped on Fox 101.9’s Fifi, Fev and Nick to spill a bunch of tea about her MAFS experience. However, during the mammoth tea spill, the self-proclaimed Miss New Zealand was dropped from the radio show after she dropped an F-bomb.
Jacqui Burfoot spills on her romance with Clint Rice
One of the biggest talking points about Jacqui’s journey on MAFS was the unexpected couple swap she had with Clint Rice. To rewind it back a notch, Clint entered the show midway as an intruder groom for returning bride Lauren Hall. But after a tumultuous Couples Retreat, Clint and Lauren left the experiment, agreeing to continue their relationship outside of the show.
However, in the coming weeks, it was revealed that Jacqui and Clint were now a couple.
While she didn’t reveal too much on how their relationship blossomed, Jacqui claimed that Clint reached out to her first, which kicked off the start of their scandalous romance.
“He reached out to me and wanted to get to know me, and after Final Vows, he invited me down to Tassie to spend some time with him. We do have a 14-year age gap, so I was a little nervous about that, but after meeting him, the age gap didn’t matter, it didn’t affect us at all,” Jacqui shared.
“Clint is a successful businessman, and we’re both going into business together now. Life is looking great. There’ll be opportunities for me in the future, and I’m glad people found me entertaining on the screen.”

Throughout season 12’s run, Jacqui had been very vocal about the way she was portrayed on the show. The same stance was echoed during her chat with the Melbourne radio hosts, stating that she believed producers “had to make [her] crazy” so she could be interesting on the show.
“I’m such a boring, normal girl,” she dished.
“I feel like I was so boring that they had to make me crazy to make me some sort of personality.”

It was during tea spill in which Jacqui was given the boot from the show for using the word “fuck”, but hey, she was brought back on to continue the yap sesh!
One of the major questions that everyone and their mama’s were asking was why did Jacqui stay on the show if she despised Ryan. During her chat, Jacqui said, “I did the best” she could with what she was handed on the show.
“I’m proud of how I held myself to the end and my final vows. He’s got a very aggressive and strong sense of masculine pride. When you’re on a show like this, what are you supposed to do? Are you supposed to roll over or call it out like you see it? And, no, I don’t like being interrupted, I wish someone was there to tell him to shut the fuck up,” she shared before she was dumped briefly.
Jacqui Burfoot spills the tea on Reunion
After resurrecting from the land of dump city, Jacqui came through with a final gossip spill on the Reunion — which is set to take place on Sunday and Monday. When asked about a snippet from the trailer, where she yelled, “I tried my ass off, my literal ass, to make this relationship work”, the 2025 bride said she was “frustrated” with Ryan by the time they went to Reunion.
“I had been so frustrated that Ryan called everyone and told them I didn’t try in the relationship at all; I tried so hard. I spent this whole experiment crying, on the phone to counsellors, on medication… I tried,” she revealed.
“You literally sucked all the life out of me. To say I didn’t try is such a huge slap in the face to me.”
Recently, Jacqui was granted an interim order that prevents Ryan from publishing “directly or indirectly threaten, harass, abuse or publish on social media denigrating material” about the bride on social media, per Canberra Times.
Yeouchy. The fallout from the season is about to get buckwild.
