Angel Reese is the Rookie of the Month for June, and she deserves it.
It’s one thing to lead the WNBA in offensive rebounds (even after removing her missed shots). But it’s another thing to create second-chance opportunities AND put up buckets on the other end of the floor against some of the league’s elite post players.
During the month of June, Angel stacked up 10 record-breaking double-doubles against competition like Aliyah Boston, Breanna Stewart, Jonquel Jones, Alyssa Thomas, A’ja Wilson and Napheesa Collier. Her streak is truly legendary stuff, and it’s no surprise that she earned recognition from the WNBA.
