The 49ers entered the 2024 season as a true Super Bowl contender. Their biggest question mark, Brock Purdy’s surgically repaired elbow, didn’t even need the entire preseason to get an answer. San Francisco was one of the NFL’s best teams on paper going into the season and they continued to be that throughout the season.
Despite the offseason hype and continued strong play, the 49ers couldn’t crack the top of the NFL’s attendance leaderboard for the 2023 season.
One problem here for San Francisco is that Levi’s Stadium is on the smaller side. Just 13 stadiums have a lower capacity than Levi’s.
