Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is launching worldwide on October 25. It's going to be available for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series X/S. While it's still months away before the game is released, pre-purchase is already available. Today we'll take a look in the various benefits when you pre-purchase the game.
There are actually two editions available, which are the Standard Edition and the Vault Edition. The thing is, you'll get the same bonuses regardless of which one you buy.
Early Access
The first bonus is Open Beta Early Access. This allows you to try out the signature Black Ops Multiplayer experience which brings with it new maps and even a stocked armory of impressive weapons. Players can even check out the new innovations being offered with this title like the operator Omnimovement system. What this does is allow players to sprint, slide, and dive in any direction. This should be exciting even for veterans of the series.
Operator Pack
The second bonus is the Woods Operator Pack. As a quick recap, Master Sergeant Frank Woods serves as a supporting character in some Call of Duty titles and even a main playable character for Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified. In terms of lore, Woods has always depended on himself when it comes to survival, especially with his razor-sharp instincts and street smarts. He initially enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and was able to obtain a rather extensive amount of fighting experience during the Korean War. Then during the Vietnam War, he became a sergeant in the MACV-SOG. The reputation he earned while in combat caught the eye of certain individuals after which he got recruited and became part of the CIA's Special Activities Division. Woods is someone who makes it a point to say that he can't be killed. A lot of people have tried through no one has yet been able to prove him wrong.
Going back to the pre-purchase bonus being offered, the Woods Operator Pack comes with the "Classic Woods" Skin which can be used immediately in both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone. It also unlocks the "Zombie Woods" Skin and the "Numbers Woods" Animated Skin. However, these two skins are immediately accessible. Instead, players need to finish the Challenge for each Skin, in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone.
