Here's What to Expect From Jabil's Next Earnings Report

Headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida, Jabil Inc. (JBL) is a leading global manufacturing solutions provider specializing in designing, engineering, and producing electronic circuit board assemblies and systems. With a market cap of $17.4 billion, its commitment to innovation and operational excellence has solidified its position as a trusted partner in the electronics manufacturing services industry. Jabil is set to release its Q2 earnings results on Friday, Mar. 21.  

Ahead of the event, analysts expect Jabil to report a profit of $1.66 per share, up 7.8% from $1.54 per share reported in the year-ago quarter. The company has surpassed Wall Street’s earnings estimates in three of the past four quarters while missing on one other occasion. 

Its profit of $1.67 per share for the last reported quarter surpassed the consensus estimate by 9.2%. Jabil's Q1 beat was driven by strong cost management and operational resilience.

For fiscal 2025, analysts expect Jabil to report an adjusted EPS of $8.05, down 5.2% from $8.49 in fiscal 2024. However, in fiscal 2026, its adjusted EPS is expected to grow 18.9% year-over-year to $9.57.

Jabil’s shares have gained 31.2% over the past 52 weeks, outperforming the S&P 500 Index's ($SPX24.1% gain and the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund’s (XLK15.8% returns during the same period.

JBL stock surged 7.3% following the release of Q1 earnings results on Dec. 18. The company reported $6.99 billion in revenue, down 16.6% year over year but surpassing estimates of $6.6 billion. Looking ahead, the company expects Q2 2025 net revenue to be between $6.1 billion and $6.7 billion, with U.S. GAAP operating income projected between $183 million and $263 million. For the full fiscal year 2025, Jabil forecasts revenue of $27.3 billion and a core non-GAAP operating margin of 5.4%, signaling confidence in its operational efficiency and long-term growth strategy.

The consensus opinion on JBL stock is bullish, with an overall “Strong Buy” rating. Of the eight analysts covering the stock, six recommend a “Strong Buy,” and two advise a “Hold” rating. The mean price target of $168.71 suggests a potential upside of 4.3% from current price levels.
