Anyone hoping to get a timetable on the return of cornerbacks Marcus Jones and Jonathan Jones will probably be disappointed by the latest updates from New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick on Wednesday.
Belichick was tight-lipped on both players ahead of another divisional game in Week 3 against the New York Jets. Marcus left last Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins with a shoulder injury, while Jonathan was ruled out for the game with an ankle injury.

The Patriots are thin at cornerback with Jack Jones currently on injured reserve. Yet, they were still able to depend on the stellar play from rookie first-round draft pick Christian Gonzalez, along with a strong effort from Myles Bryant, to hold the Dolphins star receivers mostly in check.
Depending on the health statuses of Marcus and Jonathan, it might have to be more of the same from the Patriots against the Jets on Sunday.
