A host of British supermarkets and retailers have rallied around Ukraine to help support the country amidst the on-going conflict with Russia.

The conflict, which began when Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on Tuesday, February 22, has led to many Ukrainian residents seeking refuge.

As a result, Asda, Aldi, Sainsbury's, Tesco, M&S and Home Bargains have been offering their support for the people of Ukraine through financial donations and the removal of Russian based products.

Some of the donations offered reach up to around 5 million euro and includes the likes of food, textiles and hygiene products to help those displaced by the crisis.
