Nothing beats wrapping up warm on a crisp autumn day and venturing out into nature. With sites throughout the UK, the National Trust looks after acres of gorgeous countryside just waiting to be explored.
This autumn the National Trust is giving away free family tickets, helping people to visit new places and save money. Each ticket gives two adults and up to four children aged five to 17 (under fives already receive free admission) a free visit at participating sites.
There are dozens of places to choose from, some of which are right here on our doorstep. Take a wander around the industrial heritage of Quarry Bank, or look out for the deer at Dunham Massey.

It couldn’t be simpler to get your free ticket. All you have to do is complete the form on the National Trust website and an electronic ticket will be emailed to you. There can be a delay in receiving your ticket due to the high demand, so don't panic if it doesn't appear straight away.
Every ticket is single use and is valid until November 30 2022. It can be used Monday to Sunday.
Some sites are exempt from the offer and you can check the list of participating sites here. The number of free tickets is limited and the promotion is open until the limited number of tickets has been distributed, or until November 30, whichever comes first.
Tickets are for entry only and exclude car parking charges, where parking is included in the admission price it is included with the free ticket. For more information, click here.
