Here’s everything we know about Taylor Swift, her new album and Thursday Night Football

If you have completely sworn off Thursday Night Football after several weeks of mind-blowingly dull action, Taylor Swift is here to bring you back in. The iconic singer-songwriter is dropping her newest album, “Midnights”,  Oct. 21 at  — you guessed it — midnight, and in order to prepare fans, Tay Tay is going to crash the Amazon party and share a teaser trailer during tonight’s Saints-Cardinals game. If the last two weeks are any indication — there have been nine field goals to just two touchdowns — the appearance of Swift is likely to be the most exciting thing that happens.

According to her latest tweet, Swift’s glimpse into the new album will land in the third quarter between New Orleans and Arizona.

So here’s everything we know:

Wait, what is Taylor Swift doing with TNF?

To tease her newest release, Midnights, Swift is showing an exclusive trailer during the third quarter of Thursday night’s game between the Saints and Cardinals. It would be an epic understatement to say that this album is highly anticipated, and fans have been trying to decipher clues all over the internet since it was announced at the end of August.

Should I tune into Thursday Night Football?

Well, that depends. The last two weeks have been lackluster at best when it comes to the product on the field, so we would not blame you if you planned on giving it a pass. But, to help you make that decision, we created a handy flow chart to help you figure it all out.

What time should I tune in?

If you are just tuning in for Taylor (absolutely zero judgment, we’re here to help), things can get a little confusing. “Third quarter” is a very general statement. If we assume two hours for the first half + halftime, Swift fans should be prepared to tune into the Amazon broadcast around 10 to 10:15 p.m. ET.

Be prepared to have to hang around for up to an hour as, again, “third quarter” could me a lot of things.
