The Kansas City Chiefs are set to sign former Houston Texans S Justin Reid after doing a bit of legal tampering on Monday.
It’s safe to say that Reid is just a little bit excited about joining his new team, especially after spending the past season on a 4-13 Texans team. About an hour after the deal was first announced, Reid took to Twitter to celebrate his new contract with Kansas City. He shared a message along with a photo edit of him wearing a Chiefs uniform.
“CHIEFS KINGDOM‼️ LET’S GET TO WORK‼️😤💪🏾,” Reid wrote.

No one currently wears Reid’s No. 20 jersey in Kansas City. That means unless Reid is fixing to change his number, he’s likely to wear this number again. It is possible that he switches to a single-digit number with the new rules, as he wore No. 8 at Stanford. It’s also possible he picks an entirely different number to represent this new chapter in his career.
