Things are getting VERY tight at the 2022 PGA Championship at Southern Hills.
Mito Pereira, Justin Thomas, Will Zalatoris and Matt Fitzpatrick are all close to the top of the leaderboard, which could mean we’re in for a playoff for a major title.
So what’s the deal if they need some extra time to decide the winner?
A tie after 18 holes will lead to three holes being played — Nos. 13, 17 and 18. The lowest aggregate score after those three will be declared the winner.
Oh, and the last time we had a playoff? That would be 2011, when Keegan Bradley beat Jason Dufner at Atlanta Athletic Club.
