Fortnite is live with a new set of challenges on the quickly de-flooding map, and my dataminer friends have betrayed me, as two leaked challenges that were supposed to go live today did not show up on the list at all, including one I already wrote about doing a lap at Motorboat Mayhem. Not cool!
Anyway, there is a list of seven challenges that are live, plus a new Aquaman one. Here they are:
- Search chests at Salty Springs (0/7)
- Eliminations at Holly Hedges (0/3)
- Collect Floating Rings at Pleasant Park (0/1)
- Land at Frenzy Farm and Finish Top 25 (0/1)
- Collect Metal from Rickety Rig (0/200)
- Dance on camera for 10s at Sweaty Sands (0/10)
- Search Ammo Boxes at Steamy Stacks (0/7)
Aquaman challenge:
So yeah, the two missing ones from the datamine were the Motorboat Mayhem lap and one about doing damage to enemies at The Authority, so maybe those will show up in future weeks, I’m not sure.
As for ones that actually need guides, you may need to figure out where this camera is at Sweaty Sands, so we have a guide for that here.
There are also a new set of mostly zipline focused rings to find at Pleasant Park and we have a new guide for that here. I do sort of like these ring collecting ones, and it seems we have a few more of these in store in the future.
Finally, here’s where you can find the swimming Time Trial at Dirty Docks for Aquaman’s shell back bling, which I believe is the reward for this week.
The others are pretty straightforward, though 200 metal at Rickety Rig might take a while and cost you a game, considering how remote of a landing zone it is these days. I wish they’d stop doing stuff like ammo box challenges as they’re just so boring, but at least Steamy Stacks is less flooded now, so it will be easier than it would have been a week or two ago.
So yeah, I am not sure what happened to the missing challenges from the leak, but keep an eye out for those later. And when they do hit, I will have my motorboat guide ready to go. See you out there.
