It’s AFL’s night of nights: the 2024 Brownlow Medal Count and all the best players and their partners are strutting their stuff on the red carpet. So here’s some of the best looks from the glitzy AFL event!

In case you aren’t in the know, the Brownlow Count is one of the most prestigious events on the AFL calendar. The night of sparkles and awards is on par with Australia’s other iconic award nights like the TV Week Logies, or NRL’s Dally M Award.

And at the end of it all, one player is awarded the highly-sought after Brownlow Medal — which my roommate has informed me is like the Nobel Peace Prize, but more important, because it’s for AFL.

Some of the favourites for the 2024 Brownlow Medal are Carlton’s Patrick Cripps, Collingwood’s Nick Daicos, the Brisbane Lions’ Lachie Neale, and Western Bulldogs’ Marcus Bontempelli.

But ultimately, Patrick Cripps took home his second Brownlow of his career on Monday night at the Melbourne Crown Casino.
