Here are 23 regional 'secret' specialities not on the menu at every Greggs

From sausage (and vegan) rolls and steak bakes to Yum Yum's and doughnuts - everyone has a favourite food item from Greggs.

However, there are lots of other delectable regional delicacies that are not available at every branch.

It has recently been revealed that there are 23 'secret' items you can pick up from the high street bakery chain across the UK.

Each region has its own 'speciality' and you won't be able to find it anywhere else.

And the reason you don't know? It's because the 'secret' items aren't publicised onto Greggs' website or social media accounts, the Manchester Evening News reports.

A Greggs spokesperson said: "Historically our regional bakeries had responsibility for making their own products which resulted in some local Greggs delicacies.

"Some of these were so popular that as the business has grown, we are still selling them today."

Scotland has the most 'secret' items which include Bloomers, Scotch Pies, Vanilla Doughnuts and even Pineapple Cake.

Here's is the full list of regional items and in which area you can get them:
