Henry Cavill welcomes first child with Natalie Viscuso amid engagement rumours

Henry Cavill has welcomed his first child with girlfriend Natalie Viscuso, who has sparked engagement rumours after being spotted with a possible diamond ring.

The actor was photographed pushing a pram alongside Viscuso, with The Sun speculating that the ring could hint at an impending engagement.

Daily Mail Australia published the photos, with Cavill currently in the Gold Coast filming his latest project, Voltron.

Cavill appears calm and relaxed on the walk and has been preparing to become a father for some time, with Ms Viccuso appearing to be pregnant last April.

This potential engagement follows his time with showjumper Ellen Whitaker, although the pair broke up a year into their engagement.

Having gone official in 2021, Cavill and Ms Viscuso have been private about their personal lives and the name and gender of their baby have not been revealed.

The 41-year-old actor confirmed the news last June by showing a rare look behind the scenes into his personal life.

Speaking to Access Hollywood at the time, he said: "I'm very excited about it. Natalie and I are very, very excited.”

Voltron is set to be released later this year with Rawson Marshall Thurber directing a starry cast that also includes Rita Ora and Daniel Quinn-Toye in his feature film debut.

It follows a stint in his best known role as Superman while he has also played Sherlock in the Enola Holmes series on Netflix. His role in 2016 spy thriller The Man From UNCLE set speculation alive that he could one day play James Bond, although this has not materialised.

Cavill has previously dreamt about becoming a father and once told Men’s Health UK that if he “ever has kids one day, I want to be the dad who's running round after them”.

He added: "If I do have kids, even now, it's starting to get quite late. But I want to be a fit and healthy dad, not hobbling round like, 'OK, I'm just going to catch a breather.' Yeah, I'm going to take care of my body – look good, but not smash it."

He told Deadline back in 2022 that, "She has been an incredible support system for me and really opened my eyes to a lot of things, and opened a gateway for me to drive harder and pursue further. And I'm eternally grateful for that."
