Sudan's Deputy Chairman of the Sovereign Council Mohamed Hamdan 'Hemedti' Dagalo and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak discussed ways to boost bilateral relations between Khartoum and Moscow.
Sudan welcomed holding the Seventh Joint Ministerial Economic Committee session in Khartoum during the first half of 2022. As well as training, capacity building, and peaceful uses of nuclear energy, it focuses on electricity, gas, and oil.
Sudan, according to Novak, is a Russian partner in Africa.
“We have significant potential for establishing a harmonious dialogue, as well as for expanding economic, trade, and investment cooperation,” he said.
