Police have charged three Hells Angels bikies over an assault in Melbourne.
Detectives say a man in his 20s was assaulted at a property in Maclagan Cres in Reservoir last Sunday, suffering serious upper body injuries before escaping.
Officers raided six properties across the city on Friday morning, including three in Reservoir, and others in Ferntree Gully, Attwood and St Kilda, as well as a clubhouse in Seaford.
They seized a range of weapons and other items.
A 30-year-old Ferntree Gully man, who is a Hells Angels president, has been charged with extortion and assault with a weapon, along with intentionally cause serious injury, recklessly cause serious injury, and assault.
A 41-year-old Reservoir man, who is a chapter president of the gang and was already on bail, has been charged with possess schedule four poison, intentionally cause serious injury, recklessly cause serious injury, assault, assault with a weapon, and extortion.
One of the group's sergeant at arms, a 24-year-old Attwood man, was also charged with intentionally cause serious injury, recklessly cause serious injury, assault, extortion and assault with a weapon.
The operation involved detectives from the Echo Taskforce, Illicit Firearms Squad, Armed Crime Squad, southern metropolitan region and the AFP's National Anti-Gangs Squad.
