The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, Elf, The Polar Express, and A Boy Called Christmas, a line-up of classic films for this time of they year, can be streamed for free from the Sky Store up until December, 31.

A big contender on the Christmas TV schedule, the English Football League Sunderland v Blackburn on Boxing Day can be found on Sky Showcase. As well as the Cazoo Word Darts Competition on December 27.

December TV is prime for catching hour long Christmas specials, and through the years programmes like 'Christmas at Downton Abbey', 'Call the Midwife' and even 'Mrs Brown's Boys' have been huge hits. This year Skys line-up of festive special editions include 'A League of Their Own Christmas Special 2022' and Christmas on Ice.

Feeling festive yet? To add that extra bit of sparkle to Christmas Sky has also introduced a new voice control feature to track Santa (or Father CHristmas however he is known in your house) which can be used on Sky Stream, Sky Glass or Sky Q's voice remote by saying 'Hello Sky, where is Santa right now?' or 'Hello Sky, follow Santa'.

It's one feature that is said to set Sky above the rest on the market, and backed by our Consumer Editor, Gemma Sherlock. Gemma said: "There's a voice button on the remote though, which you can speak into, good for if you're popping into another room and want Sky to get something ready for you by the time you've made a cup of tea.

"Sky Glass is a visually attractive and appealing TV to have in your room, regardless of the size you go for. The colours and the new fascias added to the sound bar really make it a beautiful piece of technology.

"The picture quality for watching films is captivating and the sound quality is greater than any TV I've had. Paired with the ability to turn on while you're in the room and to adjust sound in terms of the type of content you're watching makes it a TV that stands out from the rest.

"The sound quality on films is powerful compared to my previous TV and the speaker at the bottom and at the sides gives a feel of surround sound. I've found that I can really immerse myself in a film now and switch off."

Sky's TV packages, which are needed for a Glass TV, start from £26 a month. The TV also comes in five colours, Ocean Blue, Ceramic White, Racing Green, Dusky Pink, or Anthracite Black.
