Summer is here and that means there's new things to do in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Update 1.8 is here and everyone is invited to be part of the Sunshine Celebration. This is the eighth major content update for the game that's been released.
The highlight is the return of a summer event, but it comes with a twist. Starting July 10, the Sunshine Celebration Event has players help My Melody collect and trade lemonade at the Lemonade Stand. In return, they get to earn citrus-themed rewards. That's not all since those who missed the Sunshine Celebration last year now have another chance to obtain the classic rewards.
Here are some of the features to look forward to in this celebration:
- Music Players
- Players can now add Music Players to their rooms.
- Collect more than 150 discs around the Island.
- New Avatar Type
- Gallop back into character customization to select an all-new avatar type which is the horse.
- Create an adorable character while taking advantage of new styles, features, and patterns.
- Saunarator
- Help repair the Saunarator to produce a Steamy effect and reveal Scorching Sunfish, Hearthlings, and new Thermals when the steam rises.
- Discover new flowers, story and birthday quests, visitors and more.
New Platforms
The cozy life sim is set to make its debut on other platforms aside from the Apple Arcade. The game is going to be initially available for the PC and Nintendo Switch in 2025. A little later it's launching for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure invites everyone to help Hello Kitty and Friends bring an abandoned island back to its former glory. In the game, players get to know the supercute and friendly faces that include Hello Kitty, Kuromi, and Cinnamoroll, to name a few. Get to craft rare items, solve ancient puzzles, and even decorate cabins, all to bring new visitors and create the ultimate island paradise.
One of the interesting features of the game is that there won't be any premium currency to earn, purchase, or spend in the game. That means no microtransactions. Players can enjoy the sights, customize the island vacation, and unlock everything just by playing the game. There's also going to be new updates released every now and then for free.
